Speaker's Biography:

Dana is an award-winning public speaker who has presented to groups of all sizes for more than thirty-five years. During that time, she has spoken on many topics, including branding best practices, consumer insights, the importance of voluntarism, personal development practices, and, of course, all things genealogy! She has presented for audiences as diverse as Fortune 100 C-Suite Executives, non-profit organizations, mothers of every life stage, genealogists, women trying to balance it all, and even her school-age peers.

Dana holds a BA from Vanderbilt University in Communication Studies, where she honed her speaking skills that she had been practicing since the age of 9 when she became involved in a public speaking program through her church. She spent more than 23 years as a branding and marketing executive for an entertainment company and has been an active community volunteer for more than 25 years. Now, as a professional genealogist, she enjoys marrying her love of public speaking with her passion for genealogy and sharing it with groups of all types.
